íCalling students, stay-at-home moms & dads, freelancers, retirees!!
Would you like to work for a Snoqualmie Valley based company deeply committed to the community and its pet lovers? Valley Pet Services provides midday dog walking and pet sitting services to Snoqualmie Valley residents and has the resources to provide you with an extremely enjoyable and profitable employment opportunity.
What’s the job like?
First, it’s a blast! You arrive at each client’s home and walk their dog or dogs for 30 or 45 minutes. Valley Pet Services only provides private walks in and around the gorgeous Snoqualmie Valley (North Bend, Snoqualmie, Snoqualmie Ridge) so there is never the dynamic of a chaotic “pack walk”. The available position is Monday-Friday approximately 15-20 hrs/wk.
How much can I earn?
The weekly midday dog walking position pays $13/hr during training. After a successful 90-day period at $14/hr, pay is $15-17/hr with generous performance-based increases and paid sick leave (under the Washington Dept of Labor and Industries Sick Leave Law). Vacation pay is also offered after 1 year of continuous employment. We offer mileage reimbursement at the rate of 54.5 cents/mi.
Additionally, the right candidate will have the option to increase their monthly income by accepting overnight stays and pet sitting visit requests. You are a W-2 employee; not a 1099 independent contractor. This makes tax-time much simpler and stress-free for you!! Direct deposit for your paychecks is also available.
